Thank you for the website. Before all the religeous arguments, before all the short-sightedness and the stupid bigotry going on these days, it's great we have an unbiased collection of our history. It is a rare find. For centuries, our origin has been misunderstood and pretty much cast aside, when in fact, its contributes to todays societies are more profound than people even know.

Dear sir,

I was shocked and completely taken aback when i read quite a few phonesian, aramaic and akkadian words. these were the same as in my language of urdu and punjabi.

Is there a written dictionay of phonesian, aramaic and akkadian i can buy from somewhere becuase this is astonishing to find out where the roots of your language lead you to.

Regards,

shiraz

My grandfather, Naheem Canaan, came to the USA around 1900. I always wondered what our origin was. He married Anne Helo, who was born to Ellen Salmouny, from Lebanon, and Elias George Helo from Syria.

Best Regards, Nathan W. Canaan

Another great work to understand ourselves.

Why a dagger in the site's logo? Is there a story behind it?

Hopefully, I would like to see a clear comparison between what is Phoenician and what is Canaanite, or is it the same people, civilization?
